Abstract

'Zhebai 8'is an novel early-maturing and hot-resistant Chinese cabbage hybrid.It takes 55 days from planting to harvest.Head is of good compaction and tender leaves are hairless.It is also good quality.Each head weights 1.5-2.0 kg.The net yield is about 70 000 kg·hm-2.It is able to form head in high temperature with good general disease-resistance.It is suitable to be cultivated in the Yangtze River Valley and North China.It is ideal variety which comes into market during the National Day.
