Abstract

A simple, senstive and specific method for estimation of amoxycillin in pharmaceutical dosage forms has been developed by coupling of amoxycillin with different diazotized primary aromatic amines at pH 7.0. Among 12 different amines and amino acids tried, Sulfanilic acid and Sulfanilamide were found to be most suitable.
