Croatia´s decorative natural stone

Stone to protect human remains and for building has a very ancient tradition on the territory of the present day Republic of Croatia. Excellent limestone is available in Istria and Dalmatia and some are exported, but granite, marble and other materials are imported. Considering the geology, reserves and sales potential on the domestic and overseas markets, either of blocks, slabs or finished products, natural stone represents a very important non-metal resource now and for future generations.
