Abstract
Teacher records have become widespread in universities to value faculty engagement in teaching activities. There are few research works on their implementation and effects. In 2000, the Catholic University of Leuven designed a tool (DVP) for professional development and accreditation of faculty engagement in teaching activities. The analysis of the teaching policy is followed by an investigation into teacher perceptions of these records and their institutional context. This comparison of declared and perceived improvements will raise questions about the coherence of this measure and its appropriation by faculty members.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
