Abstract
Louisiana State University was host to the annual meeting of the Southeastern College Art Conference at Baton Rouge, April 24 to 26, 1952. Due very largely to the collaborative efforts of the president, Ralph L. Wickiser of Louisiana State University and Manuel Bromberger of North Carolina State College, who acted as chairman of the program committee, this meeting reached a high level of interest and value to all who were fortunate enough to attend. Guests were entertained in Pleasant Hall on the campus, where registration took place on Thursday evening, April 24. A happy custom of this regional conference of having an informal gathering of early registrants was carried out this year at the home of Caroline Durieux. There a note of friendliness was struck at the beginning and members had this pleasant opportunity to get well acquainted before the conference sessions began on Friday morning.
