This paper deals with contact analysis of the pin gear reducer with trochoidal tooth profile. A mechanics model and finite element method (FEM) are presented in this paper to conduct loaded gear contact analysis of the pin gear reducer in order to solve the strength calculation and evaluation problems of the reducer. Special FEM software has been developed based on the mechanics model and FEM method presented. With the help of the developed software, it becomes possible not only to analyze loads and contact stresses distributed on the teeth, bushes and rollers, but also to evaluate contact strength of the pin gear reducer two-dimensionally.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
