Turbopump inducers often have swirling backflow at the inlet of them under a wide range of flow rates. The swirling backflow causes backflow vortex and sometimes backflow cavitation. Flow field around inducer is very complex and there are many unclear details. In the present study, flow fluctuations are imposed at the inlet boundary and the responses of the swirling backflow are investigated by Large Eddy Simulation(LES).
