The 2003 Tokachi-Oki Earthquake caused severe damage to oil storage tanks due to liquid sloshing. This report present the method of sloshing calculation with single deck floating roof This method leads to solution of couple motion between floating roof and liquid. Analytical solution is a value close to the finite element method. As for a nonlinear effect, it is necessary to examine using new method.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
