Abstract
The properties are studied of the amplitudes of pi -meson production in collisions of a neutrino with a nucleon; onedimensional dispersion relations are written for these amplitudes, and solutions are obtained of the integral equations on the assumption that the P-wave is predominant and the contribution of other waves to the imaginary parts of the amplitudes can be neglected. A comparison of obtained results with experiment permits to verify the V--A theory of weak interaction. (auth)
