Abstract
A chemical procedure based on reversed phase columnar chromatography and aimed at isolating rare earths from a specimen of solid SAP material is described. The calibration of the spectrographic method is also reported. It has a sensitivity limit of 0.01 mu g per each individual rare earth. The chemical procedure was extensively investigated and checked using radioactive tracers. By using a 5-g sample a solution of pure rare earths was obtained in a chloride medium. The sensitivity limit of the spectrographic method is low enough to permit the use of a sample of reduced weight (e.g. 1 g). (auth)
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
