establishment of Transeuropean transport network that seeks to remove existing infrastructure, tehnical and tehnological barriers in transport systems of member states to establish unique, functional, multimodal transport network. TEN-T network seeks to establish such functional transport infrastructure, which will, except in transport terms, have impact on the internal market of the member states and thus contribute to economic progres of the European Union. The Republic of Croatia, joining the Union in 2013. made the first step towards integration into TEN-T transport network, and accordingly adopted Development Strategy of Croatian transport network which includes transport infrastructure development plans for each mode of transport. For the final realization of the TEN-T network is necessary to complete 30 priority projects within nine major corridors of the core TEN-T network.Priority projects are under the supervision of the European coordinators and funded by the Connecting Europe Facility.
