A Case Report of Recurrent Glioblastoma treated with Bevacizumab and Irinotecan

Abstract

膠芽腫は最も悪性度の高い原発性脳腫瘍の一つであり,その生存期間中央値は1年前後である.手術後のtemozolomideを併用した放射線療法は,初発膠芽腫に対する標準治療となっているが,再発はほぼ必発である.再発膠芽腫に対する化学療法の効果は低く,予後は不良である.われわれは,bevacizumab/irinotecan療法が著効した再発膠芽腫の1例を経験した.再発膠芽腫に対するbevacizumab(抗VEGF抗体)/irinotecan併用療法の第II相臨床試験の結果では,反応率が57%,また6ヵ月間無増悪生存率が46%と,これまでの報告を上回る成績が報告された.Bevacizumab/irinotecan併用療法は,今後再発膠芽腫治療の中心となる可能性がある.
