Abstract
The paper deals with complexity theory as a tool for better understanding of change management. The introduction analyzes the current state of the business environment, the increasing complexity and especially increased demand for products and processes. Results of project changes are not very positive because it is necessary to adapt to non-linear changes. This article is designed to bring the theory of complexity as one of the options to understand the aspect of change in today's turbulent and rapidly changing environment. The introduction presents the results of the successful application of changes in firms and the reasons for failure of the transformation processes. Based on complexity theory it is explained the functioning of the market as a set of nonlinear and unpredictable activities and stressed the need of using knowledge and innovation in the enterprise.
