Abstract

Purpose – This paper makes an attempt to explain the benefits obtained in Print Operation, by combining Total Quality Management (TQM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).Methodology – A through literature review will be performed and a common methodology involving implementation of both the best practice of TQM and TPM will be discussed in this paper.Findings – This research illustrates the synergistic relationship obtained by combining TPM and TQM, which can give production advantage in Print Operation. Originality – This is a review paper developed considering the research in the area of TPM and TQM.
