Abstract

As social housing programs move more and more towards prioritising the highest need applicants, links between housing and support become ever more critical, not just for tenants themselves but for the communities they live in. In late 2012, Shelter New South Wales (NSW) commissioned a small research project which asked NSW social housing tenants about their experiences in seeking support services.
