Abstract
The results of a field experiment conducted during the years 2008-09 and 2009-10 reveal that integrated nutrient management (INM) treatments improved significantly the cob length, weight of grains per cob and 1000-grains weight of bajra crop. All the INM treatments increased significantly the bio-mass production, grain and yield as compared to control. The treatment NPK (50% RDF) + 10 t FYM ha -1 + Azotobactor application enhanced pooled grain yield to the extent of 0.83% and 6.54% over NPK (50% RDF) and NPK (50% RDF) + 10 t FYM ha -1 application respectively, while the treatment NPK (75% RDF) + 10t FYM ha -1 + Azotobactor increased the yield as 10.06% and 4.48% as compared to NPK (75% RDF) and NPK (75% RDF) + 10t FYM ha -1 application, respectively and also proved additive and positive role of Azotobactor.
