Abstract
Different cultural packages in controlling diamondback moth (DBM) on damage and yield differences of Copenhagen market cabbage variety were assessed. ‘Neem leaf extract+tomato intercrop+manure+mulch’; ‘Tomato intercrop+manure+mulch’; and ‘Neem leaf extract+manure+mulch’ treatments were compared with a popular commercial pesticide i.e. (Dimethoate) and Unsprayed treatments used as the control. Field experiments laid in randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications were carried out between August and December in 2013 and between July and December in 2014 at Koro and Bungatira Sub-counties, respectively, in Gulu district.
