Abstract
The heterogeneous relaxation of vibrationally excited CO molecules ( v = 4, 5) on a molybdenum glass wall in He–CO–O 2 discharges has been investigated. The probability of heterogeneous relaxation for CO( v < 3) has been measured for the first time.
