Abstract
The physical model of the induction crucible furnace was developed. Experimental study of the parameters of an induction crucible furnace for melting lumpy charge in ferromagnetic nonconducting crucible was made. Experimental study of the parameters of the furnace for melting copper and magnesium in conducting crucible was made. Synthesis of automatic control systems for furnaces in various modes was made on the basis of experimental data.
