Abstract
This study examined democracy in governance as well as democracy in organization. It examined the elements of democracy and historical background of organizational democracy. The study equally discussed accountability and transparency as basic requirements for democracy to thrive in any given community. Types of accountability and forms of transparency were also discussed. It further examined how these three concepts, democracy, accountability, and transparency form a trinity that cannot be separated if government or organizations want equality and prosperity in their various endevours.
