Abstract

The research in this thesis aims: (1) To determine whether the company's financial performance together (simultaneously) which consists of Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) a significant effect on return shares in the banking industry listed on the Stock Exchange 2010-2011; (2) To determine whether an individual company's financial performance (partially) composed of Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) a significant effect on stock returns in the banking industry that are listed on the Stock Exchange years 2010 until 2011. The population used in this study are listed banking industry in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009 until 2011. The number of samples used was 15 of 28 population studies. Data processing is performed quantitatively with descriptive statistical methods as well as using multiple linear regression methods. The results of the study variables simultaneously Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE) and the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has no significant effect on stock returns. Partially Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE) and the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has no significant effect on stock returns. Given limitation this research can be continued by adding the number of samples and increase the number of other variables that have not been investigated in the banking industry.
