Abstract

Erigeron bellidiastrum Nutt.var.arenarius comb.nov.occurs in trans-Pecos Texas, southeastern New Mexico and northern Chihuahua, Mexico, and differs from both var.bellidiastrum and var.robustus in its lobed basal and lower cauline leaves.A key, distribution map, and summary of typification for the three varieties of E. bellidiastTum are presented.
