Abstract
In computer science, specification language is defined as a formal language used during systems analysis, requirements analysis and system design to describe a system. This description will be at much higher level than programming, which is used to produce the executable code for a system. Formal specification language provides mathematical representation of the system and expresses the specification in a language whose vocabulary syntax and semantic are properly defined. Today, a variety of formal specification languages are in use some of them are either based on algebraic specification or on model-based specification. In this paper a new specification language called Alneelain specification language is presented. It is based on axiomatic specification. The primary concern in designing the compiler of Alneelain specification language, was with syntax and semantics of the language. Compared to other specification language, Alneelain Language is the easiest way to write a formal specification without mush mathematical details. In additions, the specification written in Alneelain syntax will be precise, clear, and concise.
