This work tackles questions such as: Is the existence of a virtual being unlimited in time or does it ever come to an end? Is there such a thing as a death in the digital world? Is there a right to remember? Does the right to be forgotten entail a duty not to remember? Towards whom? The main objective of this article is to make a first-hand assessment of the so-called right to be forgotten in the framework of privacy rights and the freedom of expression
