Abstract

Osteosclerotic myeloma is a rare disease which is often accompanied by peripheral polyneuropathy and multiple organ disorders. POEMS is an English abbreviation that stands for the main clinical symptoms: P — polyneuropathy, O — organomegaly, E — endocrinopathy, M — monoclonal gammopathy, Sskin changes. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the features of polyneuropathy with verified POEMS-syndrome. The article presents a detailed report of three clinical cases. The study proposes an algorithm investigation of patients with unspecified polyneuropathy.
