Словари культурного наследия. Проект словаря «Florence in the works of World Famous people»

The paper deals with description of compilation principles of a new encyclopedic dictionary for guides and tourists, visiting Florence, which may be called a dictionary of cultural heritage, having rich historic experience in English national lexicography. Special attention is given to the analysis of dictionary sources, its features, which laid the basis for creation of a new reference book for guides and tourists. The main steps of dictionary compilation as well as dictionary architecture and information categories of the microstructure are in the centre of the author’s attention.
