Abstract

In this paper, the effects of the whole trajectory process on the gunshot, power and the gun structure are studied based on the theory of the terminal ballistics, exterior ballistics and the interior ballistics. The relationship among the terminal ballistics, external ballistics and the interior ballistics is also discussed. Then taking a large-caliber high explosive projectile as a calculation example, the whole ballistic optimal design model is built and the optimizing results are obtained using a genetic algorithm.
