Abstract
TraveLink, a link between the high technology world of traffic engineering and the general public, is currently scheduled to be fully operational prior to the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. The TraveLink project is sponsored by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and will be a component of the Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS) of the Atlanta Regional Advanced Transportation Management System (ATMS) currently under development. It will provide a system of 130 public access kiosks for distributing advanced traveler information to improve the mobility of travelers in the state of Georgia and the metropolitan Atlanta region.
