Abstract
The article analyzes the trend of the expansion of the area of the postmodernity, the adequacy of different historical methodologies as tools for studying the process of the actualization of the postmodern reality, postmodern specifications in certain communities. The Inevitability of the involvement in the post-modern world of the world community in general and its separate cultural and historical segments locates. Thus eclecticism of the post-modern project in various communities realized through imposing and convergence, first of all, of modernist and post-modernist models is stated. Is investigated the postmodern type of Russian society; it revealed t specifics of Russian version of the postmodernity as the fragmented reality, implying the imposition of postmodern politics at a predominantly industrial (modernist) economy, dissonances postmodern-modern in the social sphere and cultural, including, education.
