Abstract
Now a day’s every person social life has been related to social media. This made tremendous changes in the way we lead our life. Communication with people who are far from each other is made easier. Sharing information, gathering new or old friends is done within fraction of seconds. . This rapid growth in technology leads to online impersonation, fake profiles creation, security issues and privacy threats. Therefore these OSNs are grabbing the attention of the adversaries who are with an determination to do harm and trying to derive benefits of vulnerabilities and weaknesses of the social media. Researchers who are working in the security area are getting attracted to these issues in social media and trying to find the feasible solutions.
