Abstract
The effect of R-3552 on the control of barnyard grass in rice nursery evaluated in the second crop of 1968 was briefly summarized. R-3552 was found to be highly effective in controlling three biotypes of Echinochloa crusgalli at dry, wet, and flooded nurseries in both pre- and post-mergence applications. No phytotoxicity of R-3552 to rice seed-lings was detected.
