Abstract
Conventional measurements of modulated RF pulse parameters rely on envelope detector. But the non-linear characteristics of detector will lead to waveform profile vague. If a signal is detected by different envelope detector, even by the same detector but different sampling rates, the results will be significantly different. So a measurement solution which is non-dependent on detector is proposed. This solution is based on direct RF sampling and digital down-conversion. The experiments results show that the measurement solution of RF modulated pulse is with good performance.
