Abstract

Sam Jacob is an architect, writer and editor. He is currently principal of Sam Jacob Studio for architecture and design and is also Professor of Architecture at the University of Illinois and visiting Professor at Yale School of Architecture and Director of Night School at the Architectural Association. In this interview with Ayla Lepine and Katie Faulkner, Jacob discusses his interest in sculpture and how it relates to his recent and current projects such as the House for Essex with Living Architecture, the MK Menhir, a site-specific project in Milton Keynes, and designs for the new V&A East in Stratford.
