Abstract
The aim of this work was the characterization of lactic acid bacteria, be focusing in detail on Lactococcus genus, namely on selected strains Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis a Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris. Characterization was carry out of morphological, physiological and biochemical aspect.
