Morningstar v Commission : Raising the Threshold for Challenging Commission Commitments Decisions

Abstract

The General Court upholds the European Commission (‘EC’) decision pursuant to Article 9 Regulation (EC) No. 1/2003 making binding commitments offered by Thomson Reuters, and affirms the EC's wide discretion regarding the acceptance or rejection of commitments, provided the commitments address the competition concerns identified by the EC.
