Abstract

Nitrogen-enriched porous carbon spheres are made by a one-pot carbonization process by decorating melamine–formaldehyde with resorcinol and hexamethylenetetramine, exhibiting high CO 2 capture capacities of 4.34 mmol g −1 at 25 °C and 2.76 mmol g −1 at 75 °C.
