Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess whether HIFU is an effective and safe treatment in improving quality of life and controlling symptoms related to uterine fibroids, such as abnormal uterine bleeding and pelvic pain or pressure, while preserving sexual function and fertility, when compared to no treatment or other treatment options.
