Abstract A new distribution map is provided for Phytoliriomyza jacarandae Steyskal & Spencer (Diptera: Agromyzidae). Hosts: black poui ( Jacaranda mimosifolia ). Information is given on the geographical distribution in Europe (Italy, Sicily), Africa (South Africa), North America (USA, California), South America (Argentina) and Oceania (Australia and New Zealand).
