Owen, Dylan, 1958- :Photographs

Digital photographs taken by Dylan Owen between 2002 and 2017 in the Wellington Region, and in various locations around New Zealand. The collection predominantly contains images taken of political protest activities; civic events (such as parades, festivals and fairs, ceremonies, and public gatherings); and building portraits. It also includes photographs of streets, landscapes, native bush, vehicles, and signs. The collection also includes photographic prints of a new National Library School Library Service building in Hastings, taken early 1974 by Miss H Cowey. Source of title - record titles are mostly supplied by the Library, drawing on the titles of of folders and file names created by the donor. Arrangement: Photographs have been arranged by the archivist into series record groupings based on information from the photographer Dylan Owen regarding his themes, and his organisational practice of arranging images, taken in various time periods, into folders with the same or similar titles which reflect their subject matter.
