Abstract

Madame Volland’s Will and her Bust of DiderotIn June 1765 Madame Volland left her daughter Sophie an unknown bust of Diderot in her will. The investigation into this bust has not allowed us to identify it, but has provided us with a better knowledge of the Volland family and more information about the first busts of Diderot
