Abstract
The methods used by Babcock and Wilcox to calculate hydrodynamic loadings on a reactor cooling system undergoing a postulated loss-of-coolant accident are described. Studies are presented to demonstrate that the CRAFT2 code is capable of predicting subcooled blowdown. Guidelines for preparing CRAFT2 analyses are explained, and the use of CRAFT2 results in satellite codes to calculate various reactor cooling system loadings is described.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
