Abstract

In present paper, the results of implementing of the solution for improvement of the performances in a part of distribution and supply activities of the electricity company are presented. This paper presents also the results of the analysis (2000, 2001 and 2002) according to the quality of the services rendered to customers by the electricity supplier, ELECTRICA, The National Electricity Distribution Company of Romania. The results of the analysis made according to the quality of the electricity supplied to customers in Romania (big industrial customers, small customers and house holding customers) are also presented. Starting from these results, rules and responsibilities are established for the contractual parties regarding the compliance to the quality terms of the electricity supplied to customers. The paper includes as well the results of monitoring the electric power quality indices in few points of the distribution system using a real time monitoring system. The electric power quality measurements are made in compliance with a sustained program, mainly in the common coupling points between supplier and customers.
