Abstract

This Paper applies the BSC (balanced scorecard) method into measuring the IT performance of construction companies. First of all, comparing BSC method with other methods used before and demonstrating its feasibility in IT performance evaluation of construction companies. This method is a structured method which can evaluate the IT performance both from the enterprise and the project tier, changing the conditions that IT performance can only be evaluated from the enterprise or the project tier before. Secondly, the four perspectives of BSC are improved according to characteristics of construction companies. Thirdly, the idea of using the BSC-AHP-FCA method as a comprehensive method to fulfill the IT performance evaluation of construction companies is presented in this paper.
