A Method of Service Description and Discovery in Pervasive Computing Environments

Hui Li, Haiyang Wang

Open publisher page 7 citations

Abstract

Pervasive computing environments pose service description and discovery challenges. This paper analyses the difference of service description and discovery in pervasive computing environments and in traditional environments, and finds that the location of service and the time of service should be paid more attention in pervasive computing environments, besides the traditional questions. A method of service description and discovery by extending the CC/PP vocabulary is proposed. The method is applied to the budget traveling platform to validate the feasibility
