Extending IMS service to UPnP home network

Abstract

The method for inter-working between UPnP home network and IMS network is proposed. All the UPnP enabled devices in the home network can access IMS network through an UPnP enabled home gateway. We present the architecture of the home gateway. The procedures of accessing IMS IPTV services for UPnP enabled devices are also given, including the device and service description of the home gateway with IMS service supported.
