Abstract

Vocational education is a strategic program to provide mid-level skilled workforce in carrying out the construction of industrial, commercial, and other vocational fields, either at the level of national, regional, and international levels. Therefore the curriculum in vocational education should involve the business/industry. To improve the quality of vocational education, collaboration with industry is conducted, in planning, implementation, and evaluation of education. Implementation of vocational education can be developed through non-formal education with vocational education and vocational training programs, formal education through vocational education in secondary schools, and through higher education at the University, the Institute and the Polytechnic.
