Abstract

The advanced intelligent network (AIN) will be required to support a new service infrastructure called personal communications services (PCS). The authors describe the features of AIN which can be used to support PCS. They also identify the additional service capabilities needed in AIN and the SS7 network to support wide area PCS.>
