Abstract
Renewable energy has become the most dependable source of energy for the day to day human activities. Out of the existing renewable energy sources, solar energy is almost available throughout the year based on the latitude and longitudinal location of India on the earth space. Solar photovoltaic are widely used as they convert the solar energy directly into electricity which is the most usable form of energy. For forecasting or quantifying the amount of Solar energy in terms of electrical gradient, as the ultimate conversion of renewable or non-renewable energy is electrical energy which is the usable form of energy, modelling of Solar photovoltaic cell is most essential. Through modelling the output electrical characteristics are obtained with respect to the input conditions. In this paper Design Expert 8.0.7.1 is employed in validating the characteristics of solar PV obtained through MATLAB and for optimization.
