Abstract
The White Paper, which shaped the Australian Government's response to homelessness, highlighted the urgent need to improve the evidence base around homelessness. It stressed the importance of improving data so that progress in addressing homelessness could be measured using accurate and reliable national data drawn from across the services working to help people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
