Abstract

With the development of information technology, audio processing has significantly changed. Audio processing in DAW is more simple and transparent then the older processing methods. The basic terms related to the sound, sound processing, tools and devices for recording, along with tools and devices for sound processing are defined. The difference between recorded sound and programmed MIDI sound is explained. Used tools and audio processing stages are defined. The aim of this work is to evoke the importance of audio processing, and go through the stages of editing, processing and mastering audio data using Digital Audio Workastation.
